My husband {The Brainy One} chose our word for 2012: enjoy. Not because he wants us to be frivolous with our lives, but because he wants us to grasp every opportunity, good or bad, that comes our way this year.
May was all about the ideas, thoughts, tasks and stuff I want to tackle with my word this year.
It's a fairly simple list, written down as I thought of them, so not in any particular order.
For example:
- keeping this quotation in the forefront of my mind ~ think, oh think, it worth enjoying
- continue to plan exercise in to my day
- continue to connect with friends made through blogging ~ they offer support, encouragement, love and laughter
Hey, before you go ... 2012 is also the year of Happy Mail ~ the chance to receive a small parcel in the post, just because. There's no catch. You don't have to do anything in return. See this post, if you'd like to join in. Internationals welcome.

I like the idea of keeping that quotation on your mind as a goal. It's good to have a mantra. Good luck with your goals!
I love the little additions you made to the top of your page. Fun!
This is a good list and makes me think. :)
Good quotation...haven't come across it before!

Love the quotation you are calling on!
all great goals! I should add my mantra to my list "do what matters most"
We use 'things with feelings first' 'what will matter later? as our two mantras - or at least I do, dh & kids do occasionally but dd informs me she's internalized it.
I wrote my list as it occured to me as well :)
Enjoy is a wonderful word to focus on throughout the year. Great to-do list.
i think it's great to have a mantra to keep us focused on our goals. thanks for sharing!
