This afternoon DS got to play with his new sand/water pit. It didn't come with any sand so he had to make do with cold water, which with hindsight might have been better if we'd filled it with warm water! DS didn't mind, though - he had a ball and ended up absolutely soaking wet. It really is a great bit of kit and will provide hours of fun for DS & his little friends for years to come! The photos show just how much fun he had and how wet he got. I think the shot of him in a dry t-shirt is just gorgeous.
The rice pudding turned out ok in the slow cooker; DH scoffed a bowl full & DS had a small taste before smearing it all over the tray of the highchair! However, we did have a result because DS ate a portion of goulash & rice.
